While not in the episode itself, 2021 became the year they started using the "Jeff Was Right" bumper. This is in reference to so many games getting delayed due to the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

  1. Breath of the Wild 2 is announced for March 2022 along with the next Switch

  2. PlayStation VR2 is announced with Inside-Out Tracking. Half-Life Alyx is a launch title

  3. Microsoft introduces a new controller this year

  4. Valve announces a new game. One their studio made. Not a DOTA spin off

  5. No reason for us to ever use the E3 hype bumper again. That E3 is well & truly dead

  2. Legislation completely changes the way mobile games are monetized

  3. A centerpriece of Microsoft's summer press conference is an unveiling of Starfield, which won't be coming until 2022, and is delayed until 2023.

  4. PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now are combined into a single service called PlayStation Plow. PS Plow, that's the name. That name again, is PS Plow.
